7-Eleven

Diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia in 2016, Gavin had to drop out of school and put his dreams of being a musician on hold. It was through MINDSET that he secured a job in 7-Eleven, and it has been two years since he took on the role of being a part-time cashier and merchandiser. With reintegration into the workforce, Gavin has regained his confidence and is hopeful about the future, as he looks to pursue a degree in Psychology to help others like himself.

Cycle & Carriage Singapore

Mark* has been working at Cycle & Carriage Singapore as an Administrative Executive since 2017. With a family history of mental illness, he struggled with depression and anxiety from a young age. Finding it difficult to land a job due to his medical condition, he went for vocational training with OcTAVE at the Institute of Mental Health, which then led to an opportunity with Cycle & Carriage Singapore through MINDSET.

Schindler Lifts Singapore

After a panic attack in South Africa, Hadi* was diagnosed with an anxiety disorder that left him without a job. Through MINDSET's recommendation, Hadi has been with Schindler Lifts Singapore as a Quality Product Safety Admin Assistant since 2016. Surrounded by supportive colleagues, he was able to achieve exemplary performance which led to him being converted to a full-timer in just six months.
