Jardine Ambassadors

MINDSET’s programmes and activities are driven by employee volunteers known as Jardine Ambassadors (“JA”), who dedicate two years to executing MINDSET initiatives. Over 51,000 volunteer hours have been committed to mental health since 2011. In 2022 alone, our JAs have collectively dedicated over 4,000 volunteer hours in service of the community.

The Jardine Ambassador Programme offers opportunities for JAs to develop their competencies in skill sets which are important to their professional development as they build their career within the Group. JAs are provided with training on presentation skills and project management, which not only enhances their capabilities on the work front, but also aids them to excel in their respective JA roles. All JAs also undergo ‘Mental Health Preparedness’ training, a course that allows them to better understand mental health conditions, their signs and symptoms as well as be equipped with first aid skills to support mental health persons-in-recovery.
